Birth, Remembered Honestly

Birth is not something you perform for the camera.
It is something you live - often intensely, often quietly, and sometimes in ways you didn’t expect.

Many parents tell me the day passes in a blur. The details fade. The strength they carried is hard to remember. Birth photography exists so that this chapter doesn’t disappear - so you can return to it later and see what you lived through, how supported you were, and how your family began.

A Calm, Unobtrusive Presence

My role is not to direct or document every moment.
My role is to hold space - calmly, quietly, and with deep respect for your experience.

I move gently within your birth space, following your lead and honoring the rhythm of what’s unfolding. I work seamlessly alongside partners, midwives, and medical staff, with consent and discretion at the forefront of everything I do.

You don’t need to perform.
You don’t need to acknowledge the camera.
You simply stay present in your birth.

If you already feel this resonates, you’re welcome to book your due date today.

Birth Settings & What to Expect

I document births in a variety of settings, including hospital births, home births, and midwife-led birthing centres. Each space carries its own rhythm, and my approach remains the same - calm, respectful, and guided by the environment you are in.

Birth photography includes on-call availability beginning at 38 weeks, so I am ready when your baby decides it’s time. From active labor through delivery and the first quiet moments afterward, coverage unfolds naturally and is always shaped by your comfort, preferences, and the flow of your birth.

My business cards are available at Quinte Midwives, and I am familiar with midwife-supported care environments and the importance of clear communication, thoughtful boundaries, and trust within birth spaces. I work gently alongside your care team, honoring both the clinical needs of the moment and the emotional experience surrounding it.

More Than Photos

The Storykeeper Collective was created for families who want more than a highlight reel of life’s biggest moments. Birth photography is not just about documenting a baby’s arrival - it’s about preserving the story of how your family came to be. The strength, the support, the quiet moments you may never have seen. These images often become some of the most meaningful photographs a family owns - not because they are perfect, but because they are true.

Video Storytelling

For families who want to hold onto movement, sound, and the in-between moments, a video highlight Add-On is available.

This includes short, meaningful video clips captured during your birth and gently woven into a cinematic highlight film - preserving not just how it looked, but how it felt.

Video Highlight Add-On: $125
